Nickel Pig Iron (NPI)

Nickel Pig Iron (NPI) is a low-grade ferronickel produced from lateritic nickel ores, primarily used as a cost-effective nickel source in stainless steel production. It is produced through smelting of nickel laterite ore with reductants such as coal or coke in electric arc furnaces.

We source high-quality NPI from established Indonesian producers with reliable offtake arrangements, ensuring consistent supply for stainless steel manufacturers worldwide.
